Not sure if this blog is still being patronized by all the balloons, but i want to tell ya':

I really appreciate this blog for keeping us connected.
I truly thank you all for the friendship these years.
I sincerely hoped that our friendship will last 1 year, 2year, 3years, 4years and hopefully till the day when we are separated between heaven and earth!
I am happy when you are happy :)
I want to thank the time for passing so fast that I have to admit that I'm already old. Through these years, we have experienced things that we hadn't experienced before. We each had our own commitments but we still do fork out time to meet for dinners and celebrations :) I'm glad that those problem were there to sharpen us and though-en us.

The only 'interesting' thing I saw was this cute hole in the sky.

The Straits Times reported that there's gonna be a solar eclipse today, 15 Jan 2010, from 3.10pm to 5.30pm. I glanced at the clock. Already 2+ pm! Wow, I was excited. I shall wait for it while passing time in my room. But I was tired enough to catch forty winks. I didn't mean to actually. I should have set the alarm first right! Luckily (or not really...) I suddenly woke up at 3.50pm. You think I missed it? Nah...they said the best view is at 4.25pm. So, every now and then, I stupidly looked out of my window, awaiting the 'whatever spectacular thing' to see. I didn't see any. Diffused clouds...so they're really forming a canopy that would have blocked every freaking-beautiful-or-ugly-anything-beyond-the-skies. Chey! Don't care already. Tired of straining my neck every time I look up.

Since it's Mandy's birthday, I'm gonna share smth with u all. Hahaha..dyou get the inside joke? well...never mind anyways. So yesterday I was taking MRT to school right? A somewhat macho guy was standing in front of me. And as usual I was just listening to my mp3... then at the corner of my eye I saw him rubbing his eyes or what. On second look, I realised his eyes and eyelashes were watery! Then I heard *sniff* *sniff*. Then wipe his eyes again. I'm 99% sure he's crying. Wonder what issues can make a macho man tear. Or is he listening to songs so emo that made him tear like that.( he had an iPod) Songs like Coldplay's. Lol. Well that's it. Hoped u enjoyed my little story. see ya~!

Why I dislike bowling and am so addicted to pool now

Recently I played bowling and I realised:

Bowling is such a (expletive) lame and boring game!

Waste my money only.

Here's why:

Bowling Put-Off Fact #1: Those balls are freakin heavy!

Bowling Put-Off Fact #2: It's got to do with those balls again! They're just so disgustingly greasy lar! I can't stop wiping my hands on my pants (ON MY PANTS!) 40 times!

Bowling Put-Off Fact #3: What's so fun about dumping a ball on the ground and watching it roll?

Basically its job scoop is to classify different linens.

i always get electric shocks whenever, wherever i thouched anything that is related to metal in the 'factory' liked laundry washing plant. zzzzzzzzz

alot of linen sia, imaging the linens for 2 hotels, fairmont and swissotel.

was asked to pick those guest and guest's miscellaneous linens such as shirt, pants, suits, socks, BRA and UNDERWEAR!!!!

not too much of bras though.

this is not a new movie, its what i will become when it comes to holiday...

basically, there will be working, working and more working.

so yea, now working at GCW while waiting for all to finish their exam before deciding to hunt for job with the rest :)

ghost month = few wedding.

strangely,

for this year,

there is still quite a lot of dinners and meetings as compared to last year.

i never do any booking,

was called to work for 3 days [Fri: 5pm-11pm, Sat:7am-7pm, Sun: 5pm-2.30am]

this week,

book-ed everyday.

and there's work everyday.

contented, but felt so sorry for my feets.

they have to bear with the 'sore-ness' of wearing the standard court shoes.

be prepared to be sent home if

- you have no lipsticks on (even if the colour dropped off while you were working or after your lunch or what-so-ever)

- for girls with long hair, hair net should be the least visible as possible and there's still a standard way of bun-ing it! O_O (luckily i short hair, no need bun)

anyways, i shall get to bed by 2 hours ago cos tomorrow need to wake up at 5am for work at 7am, but, you know, yea, the POWER of the internet :P

they really tastes fresh... yummy =)
they use ice stone to keep the sashimi cold and we said 'cool'
the brown colour stick is actually soya sauce 'cool'
and the green colour thing acting as the rest for the stick is actually wasabi.
quite a nice combination :)

I hvn started on anything, yet. Was feeling restless cos the internet kinda sucked..and sleepy ~.~ All thanks to that lame nightmare.

Last week, i did quite a number of things. They are special, cos many of the things that i did last week was my first time.

Went to make the art art thing with jinxiang. (thur)
Caught the movie Drag Me To Hell (thur)
Had KFC dinner at Funnan IT Mall with ah hung. (fri)
Went swimming for the first time this year. (sat)
Went swimming with hung. (sat)
Someone gave me a free float there. (i saved 5 dollars) (sat)
Went to explore marina area one day before the race. cos i seldom go there de (sat)
Went on the flyer for free. (sat)
New York New York-ed somewhr in the City Link Mall after the flyer. (sat)
Took part in the Amazing Race at Marina Barrage with my poly pals. You guys are awesome! I will try not to believe that we are in the top 10 LOL. It was great running around poly with you guys when rushing for lectures. It was EVEN BETTER running around the city with you people! yeah man! Rockon! (sun)
Had people coming down to Marina Barrage to support me! yay! thanks BABAs for the banner you made me! (sun)
Received many sms-es from people telling me to jiayou for the race while i was running. LOL i did read them..but didnt reply hehheh :D replied after the race :D
Went to fly the dinosaur kite with babas! (sun)
On a rooftop somre! i mean, how many times do you get to fly a kite on the roof? (sun)
Bought a BLUE Fathers' Day cake and sang a Happy Fathers Day song lol. (sun)

Went out with jinxiang today. Caught the movie Drag Me To Hell. The movie was damn loud. And the suspense was omggggg. Wasnt really watching the movie anyway ~.~ i spent six dollars (student price ticket, cos i budget) just to hide behind my poka-dot bag to enjoy the aircon. Of cos i didnt cover my eyes all the time lah. pfft. The end product is quite da interesting. It actually sticks onto your CLEAN windows and mirrors. LOL

Before we left woodlands and head back to our hometown. A retarded beggar (please refer to the top to see how retarded he looks) holding two 50cent coins came and approached us.

yeah, damm right ure a tourist from malaysia. one look and any idiot can tell that ure a bloody beggar. -_- anyway. some passerbys became his victim and handed him a dollar. and as soon as that victim was out of sight, the beggar kept a dollar into his where-ever and began begging for a dollar again. went to some china restaurant along chinatown one day with my colleague after working 7am-7pm this dish is called 炒土豆丝，and it's my favourite dish amongst the 8 dishes that we order... it's potato slices fry with dried chili and the vinegar gave it a sour taste, very appetising! yummy!!!

this dish is called 梅菜扣肉 (Y) it's my second favourite =) but it gave me an oily feel after like eating 4 pieces of it... if got rice better =) but in the end never finish it, it's too greasy!!!

we ate those dishes accompanoed with a cup of milk tea from this bubble tea shop.. from what i know, this bubble tea shop is from taiwa and you could really see the staff there shaking the milktea lor ad the taste is also quite nice cos you can choose your sugar level;... LOL!!!

Tried Pastamania on Friday. Was my first time and i dont think i will be going back there in a while. I had the creamy chicken thing o.o it was too creamy. "chi le hui ni" that kind. The customer service over there aint that good. Only the manager welcomed us. Then there was the staff that took my order. Not that im against china people working or what luh. But seriously. They tried to speak english to me in their china accent. They cant even pronounce certain words properly already yet still want to speak so fast -_- So, of cos i couldnt catch what they were saying and it was totally naturally for me to go "what? har? sorry?". yeap, i did that. The staff was pissed. I wasnt too happy either. Oh well =D

Yesterday was Andrew and his gf's One year and 9th month together. Weihung suggested to get a cake for them. But Andrew's gf found out. <: O SO, i suggested flowers and chocolates! abit old fashion but hey! receiving flowers and chocolate once in awhile is okay what =D So wh and i went to the one and only flower shop in vivo and chose a flower. then headed over to candy empire to buy some chocolates. chocolates are damn ex o.o! after arranging the flower and the chocolate nicely, i was satisfied with my "creation" haha! will upload a photo of my final product soon when i have my laptop back! =D till then, wait for it! =X

I offically declare that today is the 5th day without my poor poor, not to mention noob, Acer laptop. =) Okay, so i did use the school's internet..and my brother's comp..and my friend's laptop. I was despo. What else ya expect me to do? Out of the five reports that i have to hand in, Im proud to say that 3 has been done already! =D I know im not the exact dream team member to have in a team cos Im actually quite -how do you say this- "relax and slow" in doing my work. Luckily. Luckily i have my Celeste mei mei to thank. You know being more organised and all. Everything went smoothly. We are thankful that we dont need to rush out our reports at the eleventh hour. Went to the wrong class for gems on friday =D took this photo before the class =) The class is at T7..straight after the class is a lecture at School Of Business. LOL need to chiong =D haha so fun! ^^ my gems class is retarded. The things we need to do are retarded. My gems is about Maths games and whatever puzzle..I need to present my answers. I wonder how the heck am i suppose to do that.

Tong tong came to my school after my lecture to "fetch" me! After that, we went to Grand Copthrone together. I need submit a photocopy of my IC. Cos they need my IC so that they can "put" money into my CPF. Since there's no direct bus to Grand Copthrone from school, I took bus 105 to Botanic Garden =) walk walk around there before taking bus 75 t0 Grand Copthrone! This is Botanic Garden's Swan Lake! The white things at the side is the 2 swans! Not sure if you guys can see it.

So cute right! but lol, they look dirty... o.o By the way, visiting Gardens during such time is unhealthy. Singapore's weather alone is extremely unhealthy. Perspired damn lot.

Since it was such a hot day, we ate ice creams! Nope, not a spelling mistake. Tong tong and i ate ice creams! hurhur! First ice cream was from Mr bean. Second one was the cheap ones that are sold for a dollar. The third one is the siao one. LOL from ben and jerry's! $8.50 for one regular cup. No joke~

Why do we have to split classz? Im really starting to miss DBA10..I miss those times when i go to the foodcourt, and finds a group of familiar faces sitting somewhr..All with the same smiling faces. DBA10 is not just a class..It was a great class. How well the class bonded on the first day..How we used to have dress code on the first lecture of the week..Im glad that i made it to some of the class gatherings..eg, DBA10 class chalet, DBA10 reunion dinner, DBA10 meet up at Gavin's house. It was great fun being in the same class with you guys! Im serious!

An explaination for yesterday's storm

Yesterday, a dinosaur ran through Jurong area and rampaged the area. Yesterday's storm awoke the dinosaur that was hiding in Jurong area for years! The dinosaur awoke with a loud roar that shook almost half of Singapore. Lots of fallen trees,broken branches, etc etc were seen in Jurong area and caused much traffic congestion. Signage was blown away by the dinosaur's breath..One of the traffic lights even broke down!

Lets hear from some of our citizens about the incident:
Liu PAPA: I've never seen such a thing in my life before..i mean, i have never seen so many fallen trees. I have to live up to 70 to 80 years of age to see such an incredible sight.
Reporter: you 70, 80 years old already meh?
Liu PAPA: no la! 47..eh? *looks at Liu MAMA* how old am i?
Reporter: LOL!!!

Reporter: how do you think the dinosaur rampaged the area?
Liu PAPA: *pointing at the what looks like half-ripped tree at the side of the road* you see that tree?
Reporter: uh huh.
Liu PAPA: Just now the dinosaur was hungry..den he saw a baba. So the dinosaur wanted to eat him. The poor guy ran around Jurong area. Then the dinosaur, being very big in size, and clumsy too, knocked down some of the trees in jurong, which explains the fallen trees. Then,
the baba hid behind a tree. and the dinosaur ripped the tree apart! finally, when its food was visible to the dinosaur again, it finished its food within a mili-second =) However, after devouring its lunch, the dinosaur felt that something was wrong in its stomach..so it went back into the forest to shit =X right now, police are giving chase to the supposely extinct mammal.
Reporter: hmm..thats a very interesting analysis. good job. (Y)
Yewling: HUH? REALLY MEH?
Reporter and Liu PAPA: ya, really! =)

i always knew this: great friends! i have to agree with celeste..though i dont have many friends as well, but i too, believe that it is better to have a few close friends than to having many friends but none of them are close to you at all..so that means, theres no one for you to tell your "xin shi" to.

well, i went for a make up and grooming course on the 16th feb 2009... it's some lame compulsary course for my diploma.. =.= (^_^!!!)

APEC 2009

GCW was booked by APEC( Asia Pacific Economy Co-operation), a government event from 13th Feb 2009 to 26th Feb 2009. when when i say booked, it means that GCW belongs to APEC during this period. heard that GCW had to cancel alot of events just for APEC, but in these 14 days, APEC paid GCW 1乙. wah... dunno how many zeros....

they had alot of rules.

1. staff( hotel and organization) cannot use handphones in public places that could be seen by the delegates.

2. staff( hotel and organisation) should not gather in groups and chit chat.

3. ALL are not to use the word ' country'. ' country' is replaced by the word ' economics'. E.g: ' may i know which economics are you from?' ( which country are you from)

was quite lucky to be scheduled to work guest rooms for the first 2 day... was damn bored that i drew away the ink of a copthorne pen. i can even sleep like nobody's business. i can even sit down on a chair... sounds cool rite... it is cool... the manager in charge( weliliang) also dun care about us.. took some photos there..

was being asked to standby at level 6, apartment room for the office of chinese taipei.... they were very friendly, and they asked me to rest and will only call me if they need help, so nice of them, make me wanna go taiwan sia <3

the decoration was really different from the other rooms from level 7 and above. when i first stepped into this level i 'wow' and when weiliang opened the room, i 'wow wow' haha...

HAHAHAHA LAST PAPER TOMORROW!! Well, not really but it is the last paper for the week! My last paper really ends on the 25th luh..Tomorrow is the 20th and i will be having the statistics paper tomorrow! LaLa chiong for the last 24 hours and i can finally have a short break for myself!

Allow me to give you a brief update on what has happened to me lately~

My lappy caught the School of Business' DEADLY VIRUS. My portable device is the one which got infected first. SOLUTION? yes, reformat -_-
I burnt my hand and it looks yucky now. Imagine hot oil plus fire equals to OMGGGGGZZ PAIN T__T
erm, I am having my exam this week and next week..but after nxt wed I will be totally FREE!
Recently, I have a few dreams and some of them came true..somewhat la. They are the not-so-good ones. I got abit freaked out when 3 of the dreams really did happen in real life. I pray damn hard that the next one wont come true...but anyways, its just a dream. MIGHT NOT HAPPEN ANYWAYS. ~_~
Read some people's blog and found them interesting. One of them is Kareen's. She's from my class and it seems that she has the stupid virus in her lappy too. Knowing that, I suddenly dont feel so zzz-ish anymore cos at first I thought it was just me ><

OKAYS! MY PLANS FOR NEXT WEEK~~~ (plans start only after my exams on wed)

Immediately after the last paper, im gonna fly off and disappear somewhr (wed)
Gonna bring my lappy and thumbdrive to SCHOOL OF BUSINESS to kill that stupid virus; at the same time to kill my lappy and thumbdrive too (thur)
Shall wait for zixin den go back home together and discuss about plans (thur)
Overnight cycling at ECP with zixin (till friday morning)
Sleep Sleep and Sleep (friday-saturday? yaya, i live up to my nickname)
Going for movie with Violet on saturday

Thats about it for next week! haha hopefully i can complete the list that i came up with last week. Thats my to-do list for the upcoming holiday :D one more thing: I can almost smell that PSP already! One more month! woohoooooooooooooooooo
